”Even the tiniest pinprick of light can illuminate the darkest room...

A decade ago I faced a mental health crisis that forced me to fight for my existence. The faith I had known since my childhood was peeled back, and intensely tested as a storm raged on. Niceties and well-meaning words fell flat, books of prayer gifted to me and scriptural platitudes became salt in a wound, and yet somehow as I crawled along cave walls seeking shelter, my eyes began to see something fresh and new as I learned to look for the light.

It was in the darkness that I began to see; the God I had believed in for so many years had never left my side, in fact He bent down close to hear my quiet whispering prayers, and gathered my endless tears in His hands.

This is the story of a God who is faithful, of a promise that storms cannot last forever, and the evidence of hope in all that is “light.”
